  • Complete the required training to learn how to be a pest control technician.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and follow a schedule to ensure prompt and timely arrival of customers.
  • Communicate with customers about their pest control needs and make the proper recommendations and treatment applications.
  • Must be reliable competitive and should strive for excellence
  • Prior experience with termite control is preferred, and trenching, drilling, graphing, and bait station installation are huge pluses. Professional pest management companies have comprehensive training programs that incorporate both classroom and on-the-job learning to ensure you have all the knowledge necessary to perform the job well
  • Technicians conduct inspections, correct pest control problems by applying product, baiting, and monitoring, and communicate regularly with office personnel and the sales team to ensure top-quality customer service.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D., good communication skills, a stable work history, and a genuine desire to learn the pest control business are all that are required.
