Technicians

Anchor Pest Control is looking to add a motivated and self-driven team member to our fast-growing team! No experience required; we will train the right person!

  • Complete the required training to learn the skills of being a pest control technician
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and follow a schedule to ensure prompt and timely arrival to customers
  • Communicate with customers about their pest control needs and make the proper recommendations and treatment applications
  • Must be reliable, competitive and should strive for excellence
  • Prior experience with termite control preferred, Trenching, Drilling, Graphing and Bait station installation a huge plus. Professional pest management companies have comprehensive training programs that incorporate both classroom and on-the-job learning to ensure you have all the knowledge necessary to perform the job well
  • Technicians conduct inspections, correct pest control problems by applying product, baiting and monitoring, and communicate regularly with office personnel and the sales team to ensure top quality customer service
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D., good communication skills, a stable work history and a genuine desire to learn the pest control business is all that is required.

Salary: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Interacting with new and existing customers to book and confirm appointments 
  • Monitoring and responding to emails
  • Meet deadlines
  • Perform other duties as requested by management 
  • Must be willing to answer after hour/weekend calls on a rotational schedule
  • Position is Monday-Friday 9-5

Candidate must be a strong communicator, organized and should be able to multitask. Must always find the positive in situations and should be a responsible and reliable individual.
